Members of the 22nd Slovenian KFOR Contingent receive prizes of KFOR Chronicle
On Friday, 21 January, a ceremony took place at camp Film City in Priština, Kosovo, marking the awarding of prizes following a photo competition, organised by KFOR Chronicle Editorial Board last November for KFOR members. The competitors, whose photos referred to the subjects of KFOR members on mission, humanitarian activities, civil-military cooperation, and panorama landscapes, also included two members of the 22nd Slovenian KFOR Contingent.
Corporal Martin Senica won the second prize for his photo of the city of Peč by night, while Lance Corporal Jure Močivnik won the third prize for his photo of a signpost near the monastery of Budisavci. The first prize was awarded to US Major Carlos Santana and his photo of a Kosovar child.
Once a year, the Editorial Board of the KFOR Chronicle invites KFOR members to participate with their photos and stimulates their creativity by offering attractive prizes. This year's first prize was a digital camera, the second prize an MP3 player and the third prize a USB flash drive.
